Saint-Félicien (Québec) June 2, 2010 - To an enthusiastic round of applause from the crowd, the two polar bear cubs at the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien made a triumphant appearance this morning, along with their mother, Aisaqvaq, in the Arctic habitat exhibit.
Barely 6 months old, lively and full of energy, the cubs gave hundreds of delighted visitors some memories that will last a lifetime. Throughout the summer, visitors will have a privileged opportunity to observe their development and the affection that their mother lavishes upon them.
To keep up with the little fellows, watch the bear family on the Zoo sauvage Facebook page, and observe them in real time via the camera feed available at zoosauvage.org.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding, the Zoo is introducing a whole new section presenting the habitats of Mongolia, featuring Bactrian camels, yangirs, yaks and other species. Visitors will also enjoy special promotions throughout the summer.
A unique experience, not to be missed!
