Joan,
You are very right. I know many peole who have their dogs in crates during the day while they are at work, and I think that is very wrong. It would like being in prison.
People need to be around...although most cats know which people they own..and who will open cans of food for them, even if you don't live in the house, they know you can open a can if you are shown were the food is located. My friend's cat Koouch used to wake up early and yowl at me until I would wake up and run to the kitchen and look at the door where the cans of cat food would be located, letting me know she knew I could open a can of food for her...at 3 am.

Love Credence Clear Water's music too. In general cats behave unattached if we let them. My cats treated me as their No 1 can opener in the beginning. Gradually, we become devoted to each other.

Hallo an Alle
unter www.orf.at ist auch ein Artikel bei den News über Knut aber nichts neues, nur die schon bekannte Geschichte von Dr. Ochs.

Berliner Eisbär-Junge Knut wieder putzmunter
Berlin (dpa/bb) - Knut ist wieder putzmunter. Der Berliner Eisbär- Junge hat seine verletzte rechte Hinterpfote auskuriert. «Knut kriegt wieder Spaßanfälle und macht Kopfsprünge ins Wasser, was die Besucher freut», sagte Tierarzt André Schüle am Mittwoch. Der neun Monate alte und mehr als 80 Kilogramm schwere Eisbär humpele nur noch ganz selten. Der Star des Berliner Zoos hatte sich vor einer Woche nachts und unbeobachtet eine Verletzung am rechten Hinterbein zugezogen. Gebrochen hatte sich Knut aber nichts. Er bekomme zur Sicherheit noch Schmerzmittel, höchstens noch bis Ende der Woche. Berichte, Knut sei ein Simulant, wies der Tierarzt zurück.

Thanks for putting things right. I do hope that Leafpure is able to understand that there is a third blog and that he will apologize. Elke Frank has nothing to do with that "bunch of people" as he calls them rightously, neither have i. On the contrary i have been fighting them.
