• I bet all that energy keeps the den toasty warm. Lily and Hope have the best expressions. Lily has the patience of Job and Hope....is such a minx. I can't help but wonder if Lily will be out of that den like a shot as soon as the weather warms up.

• I love to hear the chittering/nursing sounds. Reminds me of Hope when she was a new cub, last year!! Now look at her, hopefully she will have cubs next January 2012?!!

• I'm intrigued by the activity ...who would have guessed that what we've thought of hibernation could be so different than what bears actually do in winter ...so much more than sleep ...we can learn from this tender playful lot ...such close quarters fo so long
