Things don’t go as planned

Many of you know this already from the interrupted sound, the poor sound, and now the same old sound today. Jason went out to the WLNH-TV shed to try a new piece of equipment to improve the sound, but there was no improvement, so we are back to the old sound with its (by now) familiar ‘hiss.’   The truck got stuck and Jason had to abandon it and snowmobile many miles back to the Research Center.  Tomorrow, he and Charlie will see what they can do to get it unstuck.  Things don’t always go as planned.

Lily and Hope seemed less active today than yesterday as we count down the days to Hope’s birthday.  Will Lily give birth by that date this year?  It’s just 8 days away.  We are watching for any signs of labor but haven’t seen any yet.

A TV station in Sacromento, California, is doing a 5-minute Skype interview about Lily and Hope on Sunday Morning at 6:40 AM Sacramento time (8:40 AM Central Time).   The program is Goodday Sacramento, hosted by Cody Stark.  He is admittedly an addicted Lily fan.  He’ll pull up the Den Cam.  The wesite address is www.gooddaysacramento.com, in case it is available online (we don’t know).

Some months ago, National Geographic showed interest in running “The Bear Family and Me” on their TV Channel.  It’s possible that some urging from Lily fans could push that over the top.  We’d really like to have that shown in America.

Thank you for all you do.
