Knut nicht ernsthaft verletzt, aber empfindlich und schlecht gelaunt
Berlin (dpa/bb) - Der Berliner Eisbär-Junge Knut ist an seiner rechten Hinterpfote nicht ernsthaft verletzt, aber sehr schmerzempfindlich und deshalb schlecht gelaunt. «So eine Schmerzerfahrung hat Knut bisher ja noch nicht gemacht. Er ist empfindlich, bissig und lässt niemanden an sein Hinterbein ran», sagte der Leitende Tierarzt des Berliner Zoos, Andreas Ochs, am Samstag der dpa. Zur Sicherheit habe er den humpelnden Eisbären deshalb am Vortag per Blasrohr narkotisiert und das Bein geröntgt, sagte Ochs. «Es ist keine Fraktur.». Auch am Samstag zeigte sich Knut am dritten Tag in Folge nicht in seinem Freigehege.

Knut not seriously hurt but very sensitive and in bad mood
Polar Bear Knut has hurt his right back paw. This is not serious but he is very touchy and in bad mood. " Knut has never experienced such pain. He is very touchy, tends to biting people and doesn`t allow anybody to come near his paw", says zoo Vet Dr.Andreas Ochs. For security reasons Knut was treated with narcotics before being x-rayed. Nothing is broken though. Saturday was the third day he was not in his enclosure.

@Lily finde ich gut wenn die Einträge auch in englisch erscheinen, das mit Babelfish ist zeitraubend und manchmal kommen verwirrende Ergebnisse.

Babelfish can be annoying mostly when people use slang words or colloquial language that may be commonly used in the North of Germany.

Knut is doing fine. It appears that when he knows that people are around he limps, but when he thinks no one is watching him, he runs around normal...

Your love for Knut and your gentle character shines through your work, through every shot you take.
I want to thank you for all your efforts to keep up this blog, for your entries (which I don't understand unless I run it through the awkward language tools), and your RBB blog announcements and warm greetings.
I love this magazine rendition of Knut on the Xray table. I would like to see that with my own eyes.
