Seeing these pictures of our Knuti again causes so many tears to fall but also comforts us tremendously.
To all of you who have shared your pictures and videos since our dear Baby Bear was born....thank you for all of them. You made it possible for those of us across the ocean to know, enjoy, be inspired by, and be healed of our problems by Knuti. Thank you, too, for sharing them again. They bring back such happy memories and help us so much to deal with our loss.
Nanne - I am sorry you are not sure of the afterlife. This is not the place or the time to try to convince you and, of course, no one can give you a guarantee. But if you could talk with people, as I have, who have had out of body experiences when they were ill, if you read the latest scienfic studies of the brain,you will find it hard to deny that we have what we call a soul(animals too), and that life goes on in another dimension. No, we are not disturbing our Knuti when we continue to focus on him. Don't worry about that.
Our bear was unique in his ability and desire to communicate with us..he still does..we will be connected to him forever. Rest assured, dear Nanne.
Patrizia - How appropiate and beautiful your phrase, "Knut's Great Family House." Yes, that is where we are wherever we are, and, most particularly that is where we are when we come here to this blog, or other blogs, when we speak of him and to him, when we treasure his pictures and videos. Those of us who could not be in Berlin now are there in spirit as we all, together, far and wide, commemorate and celebrate our Knuti's life.
Knuti was/is the Wohlfühlbären - the well-being bear.
I wish you all tonight Knuti's gift of well-being.

Lieber Hartmuth
Da ich auf meinem Rechner im Spreewald kaum ein Bild von Knut hatte, schon gar nicht aus dem ersten Jahr, habe ich mir die "Mühe" gemacht (war eher eine Freude), in deinem schönen Forum von der Seite 1 an nachzulesen.
Ich hätte es mir einfacher machen können, aber zu den wunderschönen Bildern gehören auch Geschichten.
Nun habe ich bei der Seite 1200 aufgehört, als Knut eisbärisch von Gianna gelernt hat.
Es ist nicht nur ein Erinnerungsalbum geworden, ich sage lieber nicht wie viele Bilder ich jetzt habe.
Ich habe wieder festhestellt, dass Knut ein lieber, sanfter und auch glücklicher Eisbär war, zumindest bis vor einem halben Jahr.
Über diese Zeit kann ich mir kein Urteil erlauben.
Nochmals vielen Dank an dich, Doris und Jessie, Monika, Sylvia und Gisela.
Wenn jetzt eure aktuellen Erinnerungsbilder hier erscheinen, nehme ich mir auch einige, denn doppelt hält besser.

das Schöne an diesem Forum ist, das Knut - von der 1. Stunde - seinen eigenen Thread hat. Wir können ungestört darin nachlesen und uns die Bilder wieder und wieder ansehen. Hartmuth wird Knut‘s Haus immer für uns erhalten.
Es stimmt, an Knut’s Augen konnte ich auch immer gut seine Stimmung ablesen. Die Meinung über den Bärenkurator teile ich nicht, auch sein Herz hatte Knut erobert.
Übrigens waren wir am Abend des 07. April zur gleichen Zeit wie Sie bei den Eisbären

Dear Sylvia Micky, Monika,Hartmuth,Ursula,Doris... :Thank you again and again for your memorable photos. They brought back the happy memories. When looking at the albums of Knut, I couldn't keep my tears running again and cried so much that made me fell asleep for awhile. Waking up earlier in my country, I just want to give my sincere thanks to all of you and good luck you today at Berlin zoo. My heart and my soul will follow you. Good night Knut's world!

Heute kommen Eisbären-Brüder aus aller Welt zu Knuts Gehege
Knut gibt es nicht mehr. Doch die Trauer um den berühmtesten Eisbären der Welt, der am 19. März im Zoo ganz plötzlich verstarb, bleibt.
Knut-Fans aus aller Welt treffen sich heute, zwischen 15 und 15.30 Uhr, am großen Gehege.Sie kommen aus England, aus Belgien, Finnland, den USA. Sogar aus Brasilien haben sich Knut-Fans angemeldet.
"Zusammengekommen sind wir über das Internet-Forum ,Knutitis'. Sonst haben wir uns immer an Knuts Geburtstag, am 5. Dezember, getroffen. Nun wollen wir Ostern Abschied nehmen", erklärt Marina Spröte aus Pankow. Sie ist Mitorganisatorin des heutigen Trauer-TreffensDie Organisatoren erwarten zwischen 30 und 50 Besucher. Sie wollen eine Gedenkminute für den Eisbären einlegen. Gleichzeitig möchten die Knut-Fans aus aller Welt an die Aktion "Ein besseres Heim für Knuts Freunde" erinnern.Träger dieser Initiative ist der Förderverein des Zoos.Er sammelt Geld, mit dem das Gehege der Eisbären artgerechter ausgebaut werden kann. ups
